The Ethnic silver necklaces, pendants, bracelets and earrings found on my site mostly come from India and are made by the country's skilled jewelers. In the case of ethnic pendants, however, I add the semi-precious stones, wood, seeds, shell, and other natural beads thus creating the final design and character of the piece.

The Fusion creations are based on Bali silver and vermeil (gold plated over silver) beads and many other kinds of material: from gemstones and wood through glass and crystal, to vivid color fabric and leather. It is all about fusion of ethnic and contemporary components and patterns.
Somebody once said: Oh yes, fusion jewelry! Because you are a fusion yourself. A fusion of the East and West, a fusion of languages, cultures, and ideas.” She might be right:-)

The Other category may contain all kinds of non-silver ornaments: brass with resin, brass with gemstones, wood with rope, cork with non-precious metals, and similar combinations. Still stylish and original, but at a more affordable price.

With the exception of some earrings, all the jewelry I make come with a Sterling Silver logo tag depicting my Dog Papaya. This logo is registered for the period of 20 years at the Central Office for Precious Metals Control in Bern, the capital of Switzerland.

Why Papayaga?
The name Papayaga is also a fusion. A fusion of Papaya, my beloved dog’s name, and Aga, my wonderful dear sister. The Papayaga Logo is nothing else but an image of my dog with all her dreadlocks :-)
